Cops injured after prisoner opens fire at SMHS, escapes

Srinagar: Panic gripped SMHS hospital here after a prisoner, who was taken there for check up, fired from a rifle which he snatched from one of the policeman escorting him from central jail here. Reportedly two policemen have been injured, one of them critically, while the prisoner, taking advantage of the melee that ensued, escaped.
