Ganderbal police recovered an abducted lady from Jammu, who was abducted from her home in Ganderbal.

One person (name withheld) reported in Police Station Ganderbal that his wife (name withheld) has been abducted on 18th of October 2017.

On this information, a police team headed by In-charge Police Station Ganderbal under the supervision of DySP Hqr Dr Rameez Raja was constituted and investigation was set into motion.

 


During the course of investigation and after strenuous efforts, the abducted lady was recovered from Jammu from the possession of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Maqbool Dar resident of Pringloo Handwara.

The accused was arrested and the lady was handed over to her family members after completion of all legal formalities. A case FIR number 229/2017 under section 366
