South Kashmir business community protests against highway toll tax, demand revocation of order

Anantnag: South Kashmir business community on Tuesday protested inside District Deputy Commissioner Anantnag’s office against governments decision to impose tax on Highway usage.
All traders and manufactures association along with members of transport association of Anantnag district  assembled inside DC office premises and raised slogans against the toll tax.
They were urging government to revoke the order at earliest.
General secretary ATMA Hakeem Sajad said that they demand exemption of south Kashmir traders .
“Otherwise we will come on roads against this autocratic order,” Sajad said.
The protesters later submitted a memorandum to DC Anantnag.
