Leopard, who killed minor in south Kashmir, caged

Pulwama: Wildlife officials caged a leopard who killed a 5-year-old girl three days back in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
An official told INS that the leopard was caged by the wildlife department with the help of locals in Dhamhal Hanjipora (DH Pora) area of Kulgam during Monday night.
Earlier, panic gripped among many villages in Kulgam district after a 5-year old girl identified as Arfat Jan daughter of Abdul Hameed Chopan was mauled to death by this dreadful leopard.
The incident occurred during the evening of February 3 at Ahmadabad area in Noorabad constituency when Arfat Jan was attacked by this leopard and killed her on the spot.
Meanwhile, people heave a sigh of relief in the area soon after the news about the caging of leopard circulated on social networking sites.
