Srinagar: An Army man was injured in an accidental fire near the Line of Control in Mendhar sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning.

“An army man was injured due to an accidental firing in his post in Mendhar area,” official sources here said.

They said that injured army man, identified as Krishna Kumar of 20 Kumaon Regiment, was rushed to the hospital.

However, police said that details into the incident are awaited.
