House of killed PDP worker set ablaze

Shopian: House of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worker Muhammad Ramzan who was killed last night by militants was set ablaze on Tuesday in Shopian district of south Kashmir.

Reports said that the house of Ramzan was set on fire after Hizbul Mujahideen militant Showkat Falahi,  was buried at his ancestral graveyard in Trenz area of the district.  Falahi was killed in scuffle when militants had barged into  Ramzans house to kill him.

According to DG SP Vaid three militants, including Falahi, fired upon Ramzan at his home in Homun village of Nagbal last night around 8 pm and Falahi was killed in the scuffle.

Thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of Falahi and raised anti India, pro freedom and pro pakistan slogans.
