Srinagar: A police officer died in a road accident in Bishnah area of Jammu district on Friday.
A police spokesman said that the officer—ASI (T) Kuldeep Raj— was referred to Government Medical College, Jammu where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, Director General of Police Dr. S.P Vaid deeply condoled the demise of the Kuldeep Raj son of Rudarmani of Chack Avtar Bishnah. He was posted in the office of Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu.
“The DGP has expressed his sympathy with the bereaved family and also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul,” the spokesman added.
