LG orders transfer of 3 JKAS Officers

Srinagar, Nov 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday ordered fresh transfers and postings of three JKAS officers, with Syed Qamar Sajad posted as Director Tourism, Kashmir.

The order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) stated that Pankaj Magotra, JKAS, who was awaiting adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, against an available vacancy.

The government has also ordered the transfer of Syed Qamar Sajad, JKAS, who currently serves as Managing Director of the J&K Cable Car Corporation. He has been posted as Director, Tourism, Kashmir. Until further orders, he will continue to hold additional charge of Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation.

In a separate Government Order No. 1554-JK(GAD) of 2025, it was ordered that Mr. Vidhu Shekhar, IAS (AGMUT:2021), who was awaiting adjustment in the GAD, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, against an available vacancy. (KNC)
