Awantipora, Nov 22: Awantipora Police on Saturday attached an immovable property at Syedabad Pastoona in Tral after investigations linked it to a Jammu and Kashmir national operating from Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.

The property, located in the Pastoona area, belongs to Mubashir Ahmad, son of Ghulam Nabi Dar.

Police said the action followed sustained investigations and technical enquiries that established the ownership and its connection to activities of the accused individual. According to officials, Ahmad has been involved in promoting and reviving militant networks by channeling arms and ammunition into the region and facilitating the activation of local operatives.

The police added that such measures are aimed at disrupting support structures that enable violent activities in south Kashmir. The attachment of the property, they said, reflects continued efforts to target the networks and financial assets of individuals allegedly operating from across the border.
