Qazigund, Oct 24: At least five policemen were injured after a police vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road at Kurigam area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’a Kulgam district.

An official told KNO that a police 407 van skidded off the road at Kurigam, Qazigund, resulting in injuries to five police personnel.

He said all the injured policemen were rushed to the emergency hospital in Qazigund for immediate medical attention, where from two among them have shifted to GMC Anantnag.

The injured have been identified as Head Constable Mushtaq Ahmad, Constable Waseem Ahmad, Constable Murtaza Ahmad, Constable Amir Suhail and Special Police Officer (SPO) Driver Sajad Ahmad.
