Youth dies as bike rams road divider in South Kashmir

Youth’s Body Found In Orchard At Shopian

Annatnag, May 24: A youth riding a bike was killed after his bike hit a road divided near Tulkhan Bijbhera crossing in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.
Official sources said that bike (JK02BE-7030) driven by the youth, Yasir Ahmad Dar son of Manzoor Ahmad Dar of Batapora Naina Sangam hit the divider and then collided with Taveera vehicle, resulting in serious injuries to him. He was evacuated to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara where he succumbed to serious injuries. A police official said that a case has been registered and further investigations taken up. He said that police suspects that the youth was overspeeding and lost control over the bike. However he said that it was matter of investigations.
