Srinagar, Oct 07: Chairman of Save Sharda Committee Kashmir (Regd) & President of All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), Ravinder Pandita Wednesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhavan here.

He discussed various issues about Border & religious tourism including setting up of Yatri Niwas on EP land at Teetwal.

Besides, the committee demanded Transit Accommodation in Srinagar, solar lighting of temple complex, overhead tank for water supply to Teetwal, two mini buses for Teetwal, security to coordinator of temple and various steps to boost tourism in the area.

Pandita accompanied by Mahaveer Thusoo presented LG, prashad of temple and a Sharda shawl.

The LG while appreciating the efforts of the committee expressed his views about not attending annual Sharda Divas, but assured he would soon visit the Sharda temple and seek blessings.

Ravinder Pandita assured LG that his committee, a trust is taking all possible steps for border & religious tourism and said that this year, till now the number of yatris who visited Sharda temple crossed 10,000 mark.
