Policeman Killed, Daughter Injured In Militant Attack

Srinagar, May 24: A policeman was killed when militants fired upon him in Malik Saab area in Anchar area of Soura Srinagar.

A police officer said that militants fired upon the policeman near Anchar Soura, leaving him critically injured. He was shifted to SKIMS Soura in critical condition.

The policeman has been identified as Saifullag Qadri son of Mohammad Syed Qadri of Malik Sahib Soura.

Soon after the incident whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.  His daughter was also injured but it was not immediately known if she suffered bullet injury.
