Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) leader Sartaj Madni, was released on Saturday, after six-month-long detention.

Detained on December 20, last year, he is also uncle of former chief minister of earstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir later changed to Union Territory.

Madni release takes importance as Mehbooba has been invited for the talks over Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi.
