Sopore gunfight: Three militants killed, identity being ascertained

Srinagar: Three militants have been killed and an army man has injured during gunfight  which broke out between militants and government forces in Malmapanpora area of Warpora of North Kashmir’s Sopore on Saturday.

Police sources confided that  three militants have died in the anti militancy operation in the area.

The army man injured in the gunbattle was hospitalised.

Identity of the slain militants is being ascertained.

Earlier reports said that a joint team of Army’s 22RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Malmaponpora.
