In pictures: Tourists pay heed to Home directive, locals turn a deaf ear to Govt’s clarifications

People on Saturday continued to queue up outside petrol pumps, brushing off government’s clarification and request not to interpret Friday’s order, asking Amarnath yatris and tourists to leave Kashmir, in any manner that there is any threat to residents of Jammu and Kashmir and that there was no need to stock petrol or essentials. At the same time, tourists left the Valley interpreting the government order, issued by the state’s Home department, in its purport. Pictures by Zargar Zahoor
