Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday ordered the closure of all schools in Kashmir region on account of summer vacations from July 15 to 24.
Talking to INS, advisor to governor Khurshid Ganie said that summer vacations for “schools only” shall be observed from July 15 to July 24. Meanwhile government issued a formal order in this regard. “It is hereby ordered that all the government educational institutions and recognised private schools up to higher secondary level functioning in the Kashmir division and winter zone of Jammu division shall observe summer vacation from 15th July 2019 to 24th July 2019,” reads an order issued by the commissioner secretary school education department on Thursday afternoon.
