Pattan: Mere two teachers have been deputed by the education department to cater to seventy enrolled wards at  Government Primary School (GPS) in check Jamal Mir village of Pattan of North kashmir Baramulla district.

Locals are aghast over the education department that their callous approach in only ruining the educational standard in the school.

“We cannot blame the two teachers who are always present on job for any problems in results as they are overburdened,” a resident of the village told INS.

They said they have time and again asked teachers as to why no more teachers are deputed to the zone.

“They don’t have any convincing answers for us,” they said.

Chief Educational officer Baramulla G M Lone told INS that that he has taken note of the school and will soon depute more staff to school.
