Ganderbal: In a bid to create awareness about the harmful effects of smoking among the public, Government Boys Middle School Rangil in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district held a rally on the occasion of World Anti-Tabacco day on Thursday.
The rally, which began from the school covered several places of the town.
Chanting various slogans, the students displayed placards showcasing facts on harmful effects of tobacco and how youngsters get addicted to smoking and lose their life at an early stage.
The harmful consequences of smoking and educated the people on the provisions of Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act and Prohibition of Smoking in Public Places Rules 2008.
