Jammu: Authorities have lifted the curfew in Kishtwar township of Jammu division of the state after remaining in imposition for seven days following killing of a RSS leader and his PSO by unidentified gunmen.
“Night curfew along with prohibitory orders under section 144 CrPC banning assembly of more than four persons will remain in force in the town and adjoining areas will remain in force.
Curfew was imposed in the region on April 9 after a senior RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma and his security guard inside a health centre were killed by unknown gunmen.
