Mess on Jammu roads as thousands of Daily wage employees rally demanding regularisation, wages

Jammu: Massive traffic jam ensued on Jammu roads after daily wage employees on Saturday took out a rally from press club here.

Eye witnesses said that thousands of daily wage employees came on roads and blocked Tawi bridge and other roads including Dogra chowk, Jewel Bikram chowk, BC Road and civil line areas.

Traffic police failed to control the traffic mess that erupted on the roads as thousands of the employees raising slogans marched through the roads.

Protesting daily wage employees are demanding regularisation and disbursement of wages.
