Jammu: A Vaishno Devi pilgrim from Gujarat died in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Police identified him as 55 year old Parkash Bhai from Ahmedabad.

He fell unconscious at his hotel room at Katra after paying obeisance at the shrine.

He was rushed to health centre by his family but was declared dead by doctors on arrival,  police said.
