Snowfall: Traffic police issues advisory for commuters

Srinagar: Traffic Police on Wednesday issued a traffic advisory for commuters plying on the city roads as fresh snowfall blanketed valley since morning.

The traffic police said that due to snowing, all roads in city Srinagar have become slippery.

“Commuters are advised to drive slow, avoid sudden brakes, avoid fast turning, avoid overtaking, follow traffic rules, minimize use of two wheeler, keep distance,” the advisory said.

The traffic cops have issued phone numbers as well for assistance.
