Militant killed in Kangan Pulwama

3 militants, one women killed in Handwara encounter

Srinagar: One militant was killed in an encounter with government forces at Kangan area of Pulwama district on Friday. Sources identified as slain militant as Abrar Ahmad Bhat.

The gunfight broke out between militants and government forces on Friday afternoon and continued for few hours. Sources said that while searches in the area were going on, at least two militants have managed to escape. While a police officer confirmed killing of one militant, he refused comment on escape of two others.
