11 injured as vehicle falls into gorge in Reasi

Reasi, Jun 4: At least eleven persons were injured after a Tata Mobile load carrier rolled down into a deep gorge near the CISF checkpoint at Jyotipuram area of Reasi district on Wednesday.

Official sources said that the accident occurred when the vehicle skidded off the road and fell nearly 50 feet down, resulting in injuries to all occupants.

The injured were shifted to District Hospital Reasi for treatment. “All injured are under medical supervision and their condition is being monitored, they said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation started. (JKNS)
