Srinagar: The State government on Tuesday constituted a Committee to identify the reasons of “poor performance under various Government sponsored schemes”.
Headed by Administrative Secretary, Finance Department, the 11-member committee has been tasked to identify the reasons of poor performance under various Government sponsored schemes vis-a-vis financing through banks, recommend measures to address the identified problems and make any other recommendation.
“The Committee shall submit its report within a period of three weeks and shall be serviced by the Finance Department,” reads a government order announcing the constitution of the panel.
The members include one representative each of J&K Bank Ltd, NABARD, State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and HDFC Bank.
