7 injured in road accidents across valley on Monday

Srinagar, December 18: Seven persons were injured in separate road accidents in the valley on Monday, police said.

Giving details police spokesman said that in Budgam, a Tavera bearing registration number JK01V-3913 collided with a Chevrolet Spark car bearing registration number JK15A-8687 at Kawoosa Khalisa in the jurisdiction of Police Station Magam, resulting in injuries to one lady namely Fareeda resident of Mirgund Pattan. The injured was shifted to Public health Care Narbal for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In Ganderbal, December an LP 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK16-5471 driven by Muzaffar Ahmad Rather resident of Gutlibagh, Ganderbal hit and injured a pedestrian namely Naseema resident of Urpash at Beeham Chowk. The  injured was shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal for treatment where from she was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.

In Srinagar, a Motorcycle ridden by Faizan Fayaz Mir son of Fayaz Ahmad resident of Safapora hit and injured three pedestrians namely Riyaz Ahmad Dar resident of Aramwari, Uza-Shan resident of Kakapora Pulwama and Shabir Ahmad Sheikh resident of Mehjoor Nagar near Akash Institute in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajbagh. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.

In Sopore, an unknown I-10 car hit and injured two pedestrians namely Mohammad Aqib Khan resident of Maliklari Baramulla and Waseem Ahmad Malla resident of Haritar Tarzoo near Chamkhan Seer in the jurisdiction of Police Station Tarzoo. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment where from they were referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.
