Shopian: Clahes erupted during Cordon and Search operation in Battmura Wanpora of district shopian on Monday evening.

According to local sources protesters clashed with forces during the anti militancy operation in the area, forces had to resort to tear gas shelling to disperse the protesters.

Reports say that gunshots too were heard in the area.

The search operation is being conducted by 44 RR, SOG shopian, and 14bn CRPF .
