DIG North Kashmir Range Sh VK Birdi, IPS Thursday visited District Kupwara and reviewed the Crime , Law & Order and militancy scenario in the region.

DIG held a Darbar of jawans and interacted with them.

He assured the jawans that their grievances shall be readdressed in a time bound manner. He also held a meeting with all the officers including DySPs, SHOs and IC PPs of the District.

He instructed the officers for effectively dealing with crime, Law & order and militancy besides launching effective drive against drug peddlers,,,
