JLNM hold live operative workshop

A Live Operative Workshop was organised by the Minimal Access Surgical Unit of Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Hospital.

Theevent was organised by Dr H Vaqar Ahmed(HoU,MAS Unit JLNM Hospital) and Dr Akhtar Ganai.Various faculty members from GMC, SKIMS & DHSK attended the workshop.
Four cases were operated during the workshop.The operating faculty consisted of Dr H Vaqar,Dr Mushtaq Chalkoo,Prof Dr Ajaz Rather and Dr Akhter Ganai.
In the evening a CME was conducted in which Director Health Services Kashmir Was the Chief Guest.
Two papers were presented, one by Dr Akhter Ganai & other by Dr Mushtaq Chalkoo regarding the management of Piles and stapled haemorrhoidopexy
Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Saleem ur Rehman in his address appreciated MAS Unit of JLNM for their continuous efforts towards academics and training the surgeons of the department in minimal access surgical procedures.
Director Health Services Kashmir distributed the certificates to the Operative faculty and other surgeons who were a part of the workshop.
