Bandipora:Students Protests at sumbal bandipora when Private School denies Admit cards of 10th class students.

In a shocking incident today, a private school Noorani Educational Institute did not provide admit cards/Roll Number slips to its first batch of 28 students of  class 10th students who had to appear in the exams.

The school is situated at Sumbal in Bandipora district of north Kashmir.

“Students were told that the school can not provide them their admit cards,” students said.

The 10th class annual examinations commenced today with English paper.
After the incident the students protested against the school administration and blocked the Srinagar Bandipora Road near the new bridge Sumbal.

SDPO Sumbal Tahir Amin pacified ‘crying’ students with an assurance that ‘they would appear in the next paper.’

Chief education officer bandipora Javid Ahmad said that school has no registration and was running without proper documentation.

“I visited the spot on the directions of Deputy commissioner bandipora. We are looking into it seriously and will find some way to save career of these students,” Javid said.

According to SDPO Sumbal Tahir Amin 2 persons have been arrested in this case including chairman of school and his husband while school has been sealed.

A case has been registered at police station sumbal FIR no. 145/2017 US 420 in this regard.
