Clashes erupt in Hajin town over militant killing

Hajin: Intense stone pelting is going on in Hajin town of bandipora district after two militants were killed in the early morning shootout.

Protests erupted in Hajin town and people took to streets raising anti government , pro militant slogans.

Police resorted to intense teargas shelling, however protests refused to disperse, eye witnesses told INS.

Two militants have been killed in the early morning encounter when forces were laying siege around a locality.

“They came under intense fire by militants trying to break the cordon,”  sources said.

Four Army men where grievously injured and two were in critical condition, sources said.
