Srinagar: Dr Manoj K Jha, HOD Department of Social Work, University of Delhi has delivered an impressive lecture on the topic *A Country with million sacrifices in the conference hall of Dak Bungalow Poonch.
Dr Manoj K Jha who is well known for his brilliant ideas and oratory skills attracted jam packed conference hall with his unique style of delivering quality words. He spoke at length about the diversity of India and said, other countries of the world are merely a nation but India is a concept too, India is an identity too.
He said that, We have to raise legitimate questions and we have to ask these questions to the people at the helm of affairs.
He also quoted few of the incidents of the past and related with the present circumstances.
He said that, Kalam Foundation has done tremendous work and these youngsters are doing extraordinary work.
He said that, Kalam Foundation has started a debate which has forced people to think on logical lines. He also appreciated the objectives of the foundation and said that, the entire team of Kalam foundation is dedicated and Khalil A Banday is trying hard to generate logical debates.
He also said that, Every community has it’s role in Indian freedom struggle and India is a mixtures of different religion, cultures, languages and this is the beauty of this Nation and he said we have to preserve this unity in diversity.
Initially Chairman APJ Abdul kalam Human Welfare Foundation Khalil A Banday welcomed the guest and also delivered inaugural address, he also introduced the objectives of the foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Khalil A Banday said that our foundation is focusing on three prime objectives which includes Promotion of Education, Fighting hunger and sponsoring poor girls marriages.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Sayeed A Habib Chairman Zia Ul Uloom Group of Institutions said, media needs to be constructive in nature and media must try to unite communities rather than dividing them on different lines.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Poonch Rajiv Pandey congratulated the entire team of kalam foundation for organizing such a wonderful and historic seminar.
Speaking on the occasion, Commander 93 Infantry Brigade A.S.Pandherkar also congratulated the kalam foundation for the successful conduct of this event.
On this occasion, Kalam Foundation has also sponsored one student for his academics for one year.
The Chief Guest, ADC Poonch sardar Gurvinderjeet Singh also congratulated the kalam team for this brilliant seminar.
The other prominent personalities who attended the seminar K.K Kapoor, ACR Ashraf Chohan, Padamshree SN Khajuria, Prof M.H Shah, Matloob Khan, Mohd Ameen qamar, Prof FM Abbasi, Imtiaz Salaria, Adv Iftikhar Bazmi, Asif Ali Mir, Bashir Ahmed Kakhi, Asad Noomani, SHO Ameen Kohli, Khawaja Mashooq, Maulana Shafi Bazaz, Lecturer Abu Bakar, Abdul Ahad Bhat.
Lastly, Chairman of the Foundation, Khalil A Banday presented vote of thanks. The program was anchored by noted anchor Pradeep Khanna. (KNS)
