Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) on Sunday while paying heartfelt tributes to youth slain youth in Sopore encounter and all those who embraced martyrdom during last week, said that these brave hearts are laying their precious lives for our better future.
Referring to the commitment and dedication of slain youth including Javed Ahmad Dar, Showkat Ahmad Dar and Aabid Hamid Mir, Hurriyat (G) said that they serve as beacon lights and inspiration for ongoing freedom movement and their sacrifices mark as a mile stone in our struggle for self-determination.
Commenting over the statement of Mehbooba Mufti, wherein she had said that “connecting people and regions is her mission ‘’, Hurriyat (G) said that it is farce and she is doing otherwise and mercilessly killing innocent people.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat Conference (G) while ridiculing statement of Mehbooba Mufti, said, being a head of Unified Command council, she shares responsibility for unending bloodshed in state.
Virtually Indian authorities and their allied forces in state have waged war on people and tenacious silence maintained by international community and its continuous failure to resolve Kashmir problem, would prove fatal and devastating for whole south Asian region, added Hurriyat (G).
Hurriyat Conference (G) said that people in state are facing worst form of state sponsored terrorism from Indian authorities and sought mediation of United Nations and its member countries including America, China, Turkey, Iran and Russia in resolving this long pending issue and urged to save people from extinction.
Hurriyat (G) while blaming state authorities for crossing all limits, expressed deep concern over failing health of its incarcerated activist Mohd Rustum Bhat and termed continued detention of Sikh leader Advocate Devendra Singh Bahal in NIA custody as political vendetta.
Hurriyat Conference (G) while demanding immediate release of all detainees lodged in jails & those in NIA custody, said that people’s uprising in 2016 and successful poll boycott in 2017 has frustrated state authorities & hence implicating resistant leaders and activists in false and fabricated cases.
Hurriyat Conference (G) in its statement appealed and stressed all sections of the society, including intellectuals, writers, lawyers, social activists, traders, religious clerics, students and journalists and asked to resent and raise voice against aggressive and haughty approach of New Delhi and added that it is not only necessary for our survival but also inevitable for our existence.
