Srinagar: Conglomerate of local militant outfits, United Jehad Council (UJC) has said that militants and the freedom loving people of Kashmir have complete faith in united leadership.
As per a statement issued to news agency CNS, Syed Salahuddin the UJC Chief while addressing a high level meeting said that the arrests and raids conducted by National Investigation Agency on the offices and the houses of separatist leaders depicts the frustration of New Delhi. He said such tactics will serve no purpose and can’t break the resolve of the people and leadership.
“A conspiracy is being hatched by India and its media to malign the image of separatist leadership and Kashmir freedom struggle. This conspiracy will not be successful as freedom loving people know that success lies in unity and following leadership,” he said.
Expressing anguish over the deteriorating health of incarcerated pro freedom people especially, Masrat Aalam and Syedhah Aasiya Andrabi, UJC Chief made an appeal to Government of Pakistan to raise the issue with the world organizations particularly Amnesty International. “Keeping ailing people into custody speaks volumes and it shows the frustration of government,” he said.
During the meeting, tributes were paid to slain militants while it was reiterated that struggle will continue till it is taken to its logical conclusion. (CNS)
