Srinagar: Rejecting allegations leveled by NIA against resistance camp, Hurriyat Conference on Thursday said that India through a well thought out plan is pushing people & resistance leaders to wall.
It is a ploy to suppress freedom sentiments, said Hurriyat Conference (G), & through these arbitrary measures, Indian authorities are harassing leadership, added Hurriyat.
Cautioning Delhi and local administration, Hurriyat said that ‘’we will continue our struggle and pursue mission at all costs till destination is achieved’’.
These suppressive and arbitrary measures won’t help you, nor they will cow down our spirits, said Hurriyat while addressing to Delhi and added that even in past all these measures failed to deter us from pursuing our mission.
People in state are facing continuous cycle of killings and worst type of torture at the hands of Indian forces, said Hurriyat and added that these forces are inflicting atrocities and unabated killing cycle has created horrified situations in state.
Hurriyat Conference (G) added that authorities feel desperate to mislead international community about the prevailing situations, hence resorted to character assassination of resistance leadership and framing fictitious cases against them.
Lamenting at sick and biased Indian media, Hurriyat (G) said that they are creating media terror likewise as was created when Shaheed Afzal guru was hanged and added that same media while pleading the hanging, created a euphoria of satisfying collective conscience of Indian people.
Hurriyat Conference (G) said that, same policy is being recurring and adopted to project resistance leaders as terrorists to prevent them from representing the aspirations of suppressed nation.
Denying the role being assigned and played by NIA in state, Hurriyat (G) said that they have no role to play and any person if needed could have been prosecuted under the provisions of state laws.
Contrary to it, the NIA is filing fraudulent cases against Kashmiris in Delhi and commenting over snail’s pace court process, Hurriyat said that police in their routine & protracted processes, produce fake witnesses and thus unnecessarily prolong and delay these court hearings over a long period.
Hurriyat (G) while referring to the statement of home minister of India, wherein he had said that ‘’situations in Kashmir will improve within year’’, Hurriyat said that present appalling situations are outcome of the said statement.
India is facing the awkward situation on international flora and added that to overcome this, they resorted to extreme barbarism against people and resistant leadership.
Hurriyat Conference (G) in its statement clarified that we have no intentions to snatch any legal part from India, Instead, ask for legitimate and fundamental right for people in state.
It has been assured and promised by international community and both India and Pakistan are signatory to this, added Hurriyat.
Hurriyat (G) said that however, India failed to fulfill its promise & continued its forced occupation through its military might.
India claims to be a big democracy in world, said Hurriyat and added that however they have grabbed and trampled democratic and fundamental rights of 15 million people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Hurriyat Conference (G) in its appeal asked the people in India to impress their leadership to stop barbarism and resolve Kashmir issue as per its historical perception.
Hurriyat said that for the last 70 years, we have been facing such tiresome situations & in its appeal to nation asked to repose faith in Almighty Allah and never lose hope.
We will never give up our mission and nor it is possible even in future, said Hurriyat (G). (KNS)
