Jammu, July 24 : An intruder from Pakistan-adminitered-Kashmir died near the Line of Control in Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
“A PoK resident, whose identity was yet to be ascertained, on Sunday night died of electrocution on crossing to this side in Nowshera area of Rajouri,” police sources here said.
They said that a diary, a packet of cigarette, a lighter and five Pakistan origin currency notes in denomination of Rs 500 were recovered from his posession.
Police added that the villagers had also lodged a complaint about cattle missing from the area in the past days, adding, “the intruder belonged to PoK and his motive behind entering our territory is being investigated.”
