Hajin: Gunfight erupted between militants and government forces in in chandergeera area of Hajin town in north Kashmir;s Bandipora district on Saturday.
Official sources said that on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area Army of 13 rr and police jointly cordon off Chandergeera area of Hajin.
Officials said that as forces launched the search operation militants hiding in the house fired on the forces triggering the gunbattle..
The firing is going on when last reports came in.
