Anantnag: Demise of former Janta Dal president Syed Ghulam Nabi Furrahi who passed away three days back is being condoled widely.

According to Furrahi’s family his chaharum will be observed on Tuesday 14th of November at Furrah Mir bazar Anantnag.

Furrahi was a teacher from 1962 to 1963 and later worked as ATI and retired as ARTO in 1996.

He joined Janta Dal in 1997 and was elevated as president of the party

Furrahi, father of renowned journalist Syed Salman, was also decorated with Best Citizen award of India and Bhartiya JYOTI award.
