Srinagar, Sep 14: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Monday predicted brief spell of rain/thunderstorm in Jammu and Kashmir for the next few days.
An official of MeT said that as per the forecast, brief spell of rain/thundershower is expected at scattered to many places towards early morning and afternoon hours from September 14-17.
From September 18-25, weather is expected to remain generally dry with brief spell of rain at isolated places.
In its advisory, the MeT has warned of thunderstorm/lightning/gusty winds at few places during September 14-17.
Farmers have been advised to continue harvesting of apple and paddy along with other farm operations.
