Budgam, September 4: One terrorist was killed and an AK-series rifle along with war-like stores was recovered during a joint search operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF in the Ashdar Gali area of Budgam district.
The operation was launched following an encounter in the area, during which security forces engaged terrorists amid heightened security measures.
According to officials, the joint forces recovered an AK rifle and other war-like stores from the site following the operation.
