Bandipora:Bandipora Police arrested one drug Peddler and recovered one bag full of Alcohol Bottles from his possession in Gunddachina area of Bandipora.
During Naka checking, a police party of Police Station Aragam under the supervision of Dysp Hqr Bandipora Mir Murtaza Hussain laid a naka near Gund-dachina area of Bandipora.
During naka a passenger in a non stop bus coming from srinagar was intercepted near Gund-dachina Chitteybandy crossing.
On search one bag full of Alcohol bottles were recovered from the vehicle and arrested one peddler namely Mehraj Ud din son of Mohd. Maqbool.
police have registered a case FIR number 31/2017 under section 8/21 NDPS Act and investigation was taken up.
During questioning of suspect it revealed out that he used to supply contraband drugs among youth of Bandipora for sake of money.
The arrested person is being questioned and further arrests are expected during investigation of said case.
