Srinagar: A policeman from Shopian  posted in Kathua district of Jammu region, has gone missing, media reports said on Friday.

Identified as constable Ishfaq Ahmad, a resident of Heff Shirmal village in southern Shopian district had ‘returned home on leave, however he has not reported back to duty at DPL Kathua’.

The police has registered a case, reports said after a missing persons report was submitted by the policemans family.

“We are looking into all the angles, whether he has joined militants or other possibilities”, reports quoting police sources said.
