The residents  of Lacera area of North Kashmir Rafiabad Baramullah District on  Wednesday staged protest against  the  Public Health Engineering (PHE)  Department.

A large number of people o the streets and staged a protest against the PHE department.

Protesters  alleged that they are not being supplied drinking water on regular basis and ‘some times we don’t see even a single drop of water for weeks.’

“We approached the concerned authorities, but no action has been taken to mitigate our problem, which forced us to come on roads”, a protestor told INS.

However the residents appealed the local legislator to look into the matter.

Meanwhile a Senior Congress Leader and Social activist Altaf Malik told  (INS) that despite being MLA Rafiabad from the current government, but still there is step motherly approach towards the constituency, ‘whether it’s development sector, or it’s public issue’
