According to reports, the meeting was attended by several senior Cabinet Ministers, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Health Minister and Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha J.P. Nadda, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and other key members of the Union Council of Ministers.

Sources said the Prime Minister discussed the government’s legislative agenda for the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament, reviewed the progress of key policy initiatives and deliberated on matters concerning governance, development and coordination among various ministries.

The meeting also focused on ensuring the smooth functioning of Parliament and effective implementation of the Centre’s priority programmes. Discussions reportedly covered coordination among ministries for timely execution of government decisions and strategies to address important national issues during the current parliamentary session.

The high-level deliberations come amid the ongoing Monsoon Session, during which the government is expected to take up several important legislative and policy matters for discussion and approval in both Houses of Parliament.
