Srinagar, July 30: Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, GOC-in-C, ARTRAC visited High Altitude Warfare School, Gulmarg.

The Army Commander was briefed on the progressive training methodologies being adopted to the training curriculum and Operational preparedness. He commended the steps taken to align and integrate with evolving Operational environment to meet future battlefield challenges.

The Army Commander also commended the School for achieving excellence in trg and executing swift and safe rescue ops during the recent Gondola crisis. The Army Commander also reviewed the progress on infrastructure development.

The Army Commander also felicitated an Instructor for his commendable role during Op MANDU.
