During the inspection, the officers assessed the preparedness of security infrastructure, accommodation facilities, communication networks, and other essential arrangements aimed at ensuring the smooth and secure conduct of the annual pilgrimage.

Emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts among all stakeholders, the IGP directed concerned officers to maintain the highest level of preparedness and ensure that all necessary arrangements are completed well before the commencement of the Yatra.

He reiterated the commitment of the police and security agencies towards providing a safe, secure, and hassle-free pilgrimage experience for devotees undertaking the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026.

According to Ganderbal Police, all necessary measures are being put in place to maintain a secure environment and facilitate the smooth conduct of the annual pilgrimage, one of the most significant religious events in the region.
