Srinagar, March 03: Minister for Education, Sakina Itoo on Tuesday announced that all schools and colleges across the Kashmir Division will remain closed till March 7, 2026.

The announcement was made through her official post on X, where she stated, “All schools and colleges of Kashmir Division to remain closed till 7th of March 2026.”

The decision comes amid the prevailing situation, with authorities taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.

Officials said further updates regarding the reopening of educational institutions will be communicated in due course. Students, parents, and faculty members have been advised to stay in touch with official channels for timely information. (KNC)
