As Congress legislators Irfan Hafiz Lone and Iftikhar Ahmad continued their protests, the BJP legislator said that he would withdraw his remarks if they were found to be against any community.

“If I have made such remarks, I will take them back,” he said.

NC and PDP members also supported the Congress legislators’ demand for an apology from Randhawa to Kashmiris.

The Speaker assured the House that he would check the records and expunge the remarks if it was found that Randhawa had made them. (KNO)
