Budget Session: CM Omar continues pre-budget consultations for 2nd straight day

Srinagar, Jan 21: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday continued to hold the pre-budget consultations for the second straight day with the key departments ahead of the Budget Session.

The Chief Minister reviewed priorities, assess sectoral needs, and outline development imperatives ahead of the Budget Session.

Pertinently, the Budget Session is all set to commence from February 02.

“For the second consecutive day, the Chief Minister held pre-budget consultations today with key departments to review priorities, assess sectoral needs, and outline development imperatives ahead of the Budget Session of the J&K Legislative Assembly beginning February 2, 2026,” Office of Chief Minister, J&K, wrote on X.
